card-maker.space ("the Service") is designed with privacy in mind. Here is how your information is handled.
We do not store your card content, messages, or personal details on our servers. All card data (names, messages, design settings) is encoded directly into the shareable URL using base64 encoding. There is no database of cards or user accounts. When you close or navigate away from the page, no record of your card persists on our infrastructure.
When you share a card, the content you entered is encoded into the URL itself. Anyone with that URL can view the card. Please be mindful of where you share card links — they are effectively public to anyone who has the link. We recommend sharing links only through private, trusted channels.
To generate card designs, your questionnaire answers (tone, names, relationship details, how you met, and your message) are sent to third-party AI providers:
Anthropic (Claude API) — receives your answers to generate a custom card design (colors, fonts, layout). Anthropic's API does not use your data for model training. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
Stability AI — receives an AI-generated image prompt (not your personal message) to create a background illustration. See Stability AI's Privacy Policy.
These services process your data transiently to generate outputs and do not retain it beyond the API request.
If print ordering is available, payments are processed entirely by Stripe. We do not see or store your full payment card information. Stripe collects your name, address, and payment details as required to fulfill your order. A shipping address is provided to our print fulfillment partner to deliver your order.
We do not use tracking cookies, analytics services, or advertising pixels. The Service does not set any cookies. Your browser may cache assets locally as part of normal web browsing; this is controlled by your browser settings.
The Service is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the Service, please contact us at abuse@card-maker.space and we will take appropriate steps.
Since we do not store card data on our servers, there is nothing to retain or delete. Card data exists only in the URL you create and share. To "delete" a card, simply stop sharing the link. Transient data sent to AI APIs during card generation is not retained by us.
Because we do not collect or store personal data in any database, there is no stored data to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions or concerns about how your information was handled during a specific interaction, please contact us.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
